PMC Classes at Beading Dreams!
What is PMC? Precious Metal Clay, PMC, is an exciting material developed and patented in the 1990s by Mitsubishi Materials of Japan. Microscopic particles of silver are mixed with a moist binder to create a material that has the feel and working properties of modeling clay. Using simple tools, objects are easily given shape, texture, and character. After air-drying, the objects are heated to temperatures approaching the melting point of the metal, where the particles fuse together to make a dense, fully metallic object. Fired PMC work can be polished, soldered, enameled, and enjoyed like any other silver item.

Prepare to form a new habit! PMC is fun, easy, and oh so enjoyable! This three-night class will introduce you to the world of metal clay with three easy projects Students will learn basic PMC techniques while creating three gorgeous pendants.

Let your kids learn to bead this summer at Beading Dreams! Students will learn basic stringing, wire wrapping, and more in each one week session. Students will make five or more projects during each camp. Tuition includes all materials and tools to use, plus lunch. Ages 8 and up welcome.
